More than ever, it is important to exploit the technological success potential of digitiza-tion in a short period of time. In many cases, companies are forcing a change from a producer of physical goods to a manufacturing service provider. The creation of digitally enhanced market services is moving into focus. New business models must be imple-mented and efficient corporate structures developed. Established companies, in many cases, find it difficult to redesign the proven business logic and the value-added systems that have evolved over time. The aim of this thesis is a methodology for the design of the value creation for digitized hybrid market services. Its basis is an ideal typical value-added structure for the analysis of existing structures and as a starting point for the design which is based on transfor-mation drivers. These describe basic building blocks of digitized hybrid market services that must be implemented in the future value creation structure. Reference solutions are provided as tools for implementation. A process model and suitable tools support the use of the system. The application is exemplified by a practical example in the field of additive manufacturing.
