Socioeconomics of personnel
SEPE papers are contributions of the Chair for Personnel Economics at Paderborn University. The socioeconomics of personnel is dedicated to researching employment relationships from a perspective that is devoted to furthering the long-term benefits of employees and employers. It assumes that people are both selfish and cooperative; that labor markets are imperfect; and that it is important to take into consideration the social, institutional and technological context of personnel practices. In sum:
Socioeconomics of personnel = personnel economics + social norms + societal concerns
